As we all prepare for the long Labor Day weekend, consider the below fresh cocktail suggestions to start your weekend off right.

1. Labor Day Lounger

Ingredients:

1 1/2 ounces Shellback Silver Rum

1/2 ounce Lemon Juice

1/2 ounce Simple Syrup

6 Basil Leaves

4 Pineapple Cubes – 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 inch roughly

25 Fresh Blueberries

1 ounce Club Soda

Blueberries & Pineapple for Garnish

Directions:

Muddle basil leaves, pineapple and blueberry in cocktail shaker. Add rum, lemon juice and simple syrup with ice. Shake vigorously to infuse basil flavor well. Strain into large rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with pineapple and blueberries.

2. Kiwi Colada

Ingredients:

2 ounces Shellback Spiced Rum

1 ounce Cream of Coconut

1 Kiwi – Skinned & Sliced

6 Fresh Pineapple Cubes

3 Watermelon Cubes

12 ounces Crushed Ice

Kiwi Slice for Garnish

Directions:

Place all ingredients in blender, saving one kiwi slice for garnish. Blend until completely smooth. Pour into goblet. Garnish with kiwi and watermelon slice.

3. Raspberry Watermelon Mojito

Shellback Raspberry Melon Mojito

Ingredients:

1 1/2 ounces Shellback Silver Rum

1/2 ounce Lime Juice

1/2 ounce Simple Syrup

10 Mint Leaves

3 Watermelon Cubes – 1-1/2 x 1-1/2 inch roughly

6 Fresh Raspberries

1 1/2 ounces Club Soda

Mint Sprig for Garnish

Directions:

Muddle mint leaves, watermelon and raspberries in cocktail shaker. Add rum, lime juice and simple syrup with ice. Shake vigorously to infuse mint flavor well. Strain into highball glass over fresh ice. Top with soda and garnish with a sprig of mint.

4. Silver Breeze

Silver Breeze

Ingredients:

1 1/2 ounces Camarena Silver Tequila

1/2 ounce Sauvignon Blanc

4 Kumquats

3 Basil Leaves

3 oz Soda Water

Basil for Garnish

Directions:

Muddle kumquats and basil in a bucket glass. Add ice, tequila and Sauvignon Blanc. Top with soda water and stir. Garnish with strips of basil.

5. End of Summer Smash

End of Summer Smash

Ingredients:
2 ounces Camarena Silver Tequila
1/2 ounce Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
1/3 Cucumber, Peeled & Diced
1 Heavy Bar Spoon Agave Nectar
2 dashes Orange Bitters
1 ounce of Soda Water
Lemon Wheels and Mint Sprig for Garnish

Directions:
Muddle cucumber thoroughly in shaker tin. Add Camarena Tequila, lemon juice, agave nectar and orange bitters. Add ice and shake thoroughly. Strain into a tall, ice-filled glass, and top with soda water. Garnish with lemon wheels and a mint sprig.
