A Vacuum That Sucks

I was originally going to post this as a question on our facebook page but I figured if I wrote it as a blog post here, others might find it helpful.

You see, my kitchen… it’s tile and it’s annoying. It’s impossible to keep clean and dirt always falls in the cracks. There has got to be a solution. There has got to be a vacuum that will keep the tile clean without shoving all the dirt into the cracks.

Do you swear by your vacuum? Tell me what kind you have and why you think it will work! HELP.

    My steam mop holds
My heart. In the search for a vacuum…

Dyson really? Haven’t tried but I’m curious!

I’m on my second one now after trying many other brands. The others don’t clean as well and most of all, they don’t last. Hoover burnt out, twice. Bissell and Eureka stop having suction after a short amount of time. None of them last past a year. Dyson worked fabulously for years until someone here did something stupid with it and I had to get another one. Lifts up the most flattened carpeting. Lasts for years. I will never buy anything else. I would also look at the reviews on Amazon…

i love my dyson but not on laminate as it does not do a good job, but mine is 2 years old

I agree with Julie. I LOVE my Shark Navigator, I have two of them, one upstairs(Shark Navigator older version)and one downstairs(lift away), great for stairs, cobwebs, upholstery, etc.

For tile I would totally go with an oreck steam mop! Cannot live without mine throughout the house but especially for the tile in the bathroom, even has a great attachment for getting down in the grout and it sanitizes as you clean!

I have a Dyson too and I don’t care for it. Its light weight but for the price mine has lost a lit of suction. I want to try the electrolux canister vacuum or if I could justify the price a Rainbow

I bought a canister Royal vacum from a second hand store. I have tile and hardwood floors in my apt. and sweeping it is pointless! Next to a Kirby I had years ago this is the BEST vacum I ever owned!! oh and we have two cats that shed BADLY!
