Beach + Pina Colada (Silkology Style)

When you think of having a drink on the beach, what do you think of? Besides the drink that starts with a 3 letter word.

I tend to think of Pina Coladas.

I was surprised to learn that award-winning mixologist Bryan Dayton has teamed with Silk to create the inspired recipes that make up Silkology.

I decided to try his Pina Colada recipe.

Pina Colada (with Silk Soy Milk)

1 cup Silk Pure Coconut Original or Vanilla
1 banana
1/2 cup pineapple chunks
1/4 tsp coconut extract
1/2 cup ice

Blend all ingredients until smooth. Garnish with pineapple spear topped by a cocktail umbrella.

You can also add a dash of cinnamon to the top. I know, sounds weird but I like it. Try it!

Silk inspired me to think outside of the bowl with their new Silkology-inspired drink recipes. Tell me something new you want to try this summer when entertaining to win a Silkology prize package.
