Another summer favorite, strawberries! With summer winding down, I think it is oh, so important to feature some of our favorite berries while we still can!
I recently saw the clip on The Chew of Carla creating a Strawberry Napoleon and it looked amazing!!!! I really want to make a few of these, hide them from the kids and enjoy them in quiet.
Strawberry Napoleon Recipe:
A napoleon is a traditional French pastry composed of layers of puff pastry and pastry cream.
1 package Store Bought Puff Pastry (two sheets)
2 cups Vanilla Pastry Cream
1 pound Strawberries (roughly chopped)
1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
1 1/2 cups Powdered Sugar
2 1/2 tablespoons Water
2 teaspoons Lemon Juice
