Chickpeas also known as garbanzo beans to confuse you even more, are a delicious tasty snack when roasted.

I was never really a fan of them until I got older and I’m not sure why. They are pretty tasty and very common among Indian dishes.
Crunchy Roasted Chickpeas
Ingredients
1 can of chick peas (remember: also known as garbanzo beans)
1 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, enough to drizzle on them.
1/2 teaspoon sea salt (or table salt)Additional seasonings (optional, but so recommended):
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 chili powder (or cajun seasoning)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Dash of pepper if you want a little kickInstructions
Preheat oven to 400f.
Mix everything in a large bowl and stir until well coated.
Spread chickpeas on a baking pan and bake at 400f for about 30 minutes. Stir and continue baking for another 10-15 minutes, or until chickpeas are crispy. Total cook time was about 50 minutes.
