DIY Minky Blanket

We try to make most of our DIY projects on the easy side and this one is no exception.

All you you need is one yard of fabric with a design and one yard of Minky fabric.

Prewash then cut your fabric to size. I made mine 40″ X 35″, which was almost what it was off the bolt.

Place the right sides together and pin all of the edges.

Sew 1/4″ seam all the way around, leaving several inches unsewn so that you can turn your blanket inside out. Do this then push out all of your corners. Sew another 1/4″ seam and you are done! I told you it was very easy.
