Is there a time in your life where you just wish you could have a do-over moment? To stick with a light-hearted theme here, I wanted to tell you about quite a few times I’ve wished for that do-over moment.
Often, while browsing the internet, I will come across an adorable hair style and think “hmm, that would look great on me!” and proceed to either cut my hair myself or get my hair cut. This is never a good idea and I immediately regret the decision.
You’d think I would have learned by now but no. I even tell my husband to talk me out of it when I decide that I need to change up my hair color or cut my bangs. I beg and plead with him to talk me out of it but of course, when I decide I want to do something, I try to get him on my side and the only thing I want is for him to tell me that I should go for it… It’s a vicious cycle.
So yes, my do-over moment would be anytime I decide to cut my bangs, cut my hair, change my hair color. I immediately regret it and wonder why I did that.
When it comes to parenting, I think many of us wish we can have a do-over moment here and there. I think it’s important to not take yourselves too seriously and just go with the flow.
