“Eventipity – The First Deal Website For All Events”

People planning an event can save big on their party needs with a recently launched deals website, www.eventipity.com. The site offers pre-negotiated vendor deals on event services and products.

Many other discount websites exist but eventipity.com is the first of it’s kind to hit the event industry. The site allows quality vendors to list deals on un-booked dates or offer limited time voucher deals for all types of events, instead of only one segment of that market.

“I realized that there was no place where vendors could list un-booked dates and promote those deals to a mass market of people looking for a savings,” say’s Karla Amador, founder of eventipity.com. After discussing the idea with her friend, Lou Lomibao the two decided to put the idea into motion and thus eventipity.com was born.

The website allows quality vendors to list specials and stay busy while helping consumers save. The site launched on Nov. 1, and it is free for vendors and consumers to sign up.

“I’m excited that our website has ability to help not only vendors in the event industry, but also consumers,” says Lou Lomibao, co-founder of eventipity.com

Eventipity.com is founded by a fabulous duo of strong, motivated women who know their stuff. With that, you know this site will be a success.

Eventipity.com is founded by a fabulous duo of strong, motivated women who know their stuff. With that, you know this site will be a success. Karla Amador started her first business, Amador Events, in 2008. After coordinating events for over three years, she found a problem in the industry, vendors with un-booked dates and an inconsistent income flow. Inspired by this issue she came up with the concept of Eventipity. Karla gets great satisfaction from helping people, she knows vendors and members will benefit from the synergy Eventipity.com provides.

Prior to working in the event industry Karla managed several duties at AMTEK Computer Services and HRN Services including sales, contracts, accounting and human resources functions. Karla is graduating from California State University, Fullerton, with a bachelor’s degree in communications with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in business administration in the Fall 2011. She also holds an associate degree in business administration from Glendale Community College.

Mary Lou, Lou for short, graduated from Eastern Michigan University, Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor of arts degree majoring in marketing, graphic arts and photography in 2006. She started out in the wedding industry working as an intern for a well-known wedding photographer in Michigan. After graduating Lou moved to Arizona where she worked at a credit union as a marketing associate. Her duties including graphic design, maintaining vendor relationships, organizing community events, and working directly with other departments to meet their specific needs.

Her love for the event industry caused her to change career paths. She got a job with a wedding and event photographer in Tucson, there she was able to utilize her marketing and design background as well as knowledge in customer service, e-mail marketing, social media, web development, design and maintenance. She also started her own photography business.

In 2010, Lou moved to California and after meeting with Karla and hearing her ideas she knew that all of her experience as well as working over 40 events and 6 years in the wedding and event industry would compliment Karla’s strengths and be a great asset to Eventipity.

Although Eventipity just launched in November, I feel that it will take off running. Being that it is the first events deal website that serves people planning all kinds of events; weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, corporate events, etc. To subscribe to the best deals in your city, visit http://eventipity.com.

I tried to sign up as a vendor under the vendor section but it looks as if they were only accepting applications for Chicago. Anyone from Eventipity here to read this?

    Hi guys!

Sorry for the late reply. Our vendor page had a glitch, we are accepting apps for Chicago, New York, Miami, SoCal, NorCal and Dallas. If you click the drop down and click the city you’d like it might still say Chicago but we do have the correct city you’re in. We’re fixing it as soon as we can! With new websites we’re always catching all the little things. Thanks for your interest and patience :-)
