Orange Cinnamon Simmer For The House

I received a note from a friend today, asking me how to prepare my Snuggle Season Scent. I want to share it with you all. I really don’t know how many generations it goes back.

It is especially sweet to know my little granddaughter is now watching my daughter continue this fun with her family. Here is another version.

You will need:

3 cut up unpeeled oranges
2 Tbs. Fancy cloves
3 cinnamon sticks or 3 Tbs. Cinnamon powder
3 Tbs. powdered ginger (can also use allspice)
2 cups water

Place all ingredients in saucepan, and bring to a full boil.
When it starts to boil, turn to simmer.

It can steep all day, but don’t allow it to dry down. Add water as needed. The scent will last until burner is turned off.

It will last for days on the stove, and is much stronger than candles or plug-ins.
Not for eating or drinking, only for sniffing.

(It can also simmer in a slow cooker)
