Bobalong (ended)

Submitted by Heather on July 18, 2011Comments

Does your daily workout include repeatedly picking up dropped pacifiers, thrown bottles and toys? If your kids are anything like my 6 month old son, watching mommy bend down and pick up an item over and over again is the best game ever! While this drop and retrieve thing is entertaining to our littles it leaves us mamas with a sore back and after the 10th+ time running out of patience.

How about when you’re out driving and you hear the dreaded “plink” followed by the inevitable scream? Baby has lost his paci… yet again. Not only is this frustrating for baby but a huge distraction for mama. I’m guilty of blindly fishing around with one hand in the back seat while driving desperately trying to find my son’s paci and calm him down. I have a feeling I’m not the only mama out there that does this and obviously it poses some safety risks.

If these common nightmares sound familiar you’re going to want to pay attention to to what I have to say about the Bobalong.

Created by an “everyday” mom, the bobalong puts an end to the constant frustration of the dropped bottle and lost pacifier. The bobalong baby vest, with interchangeable sleeves, keeps your baby’s bottle and pacifier safely within their reach and off of the ground… once and for all!

Uniquely designed for babies who can sit up on their own (ages 6-18 mos.) and are gaining independence in self-feeding, the Bobalong is perfect for many on-the-go places, including carseats, strollers, high chairs, airplanes, grocery carts, wagons, baby joggers, baby backpacks, beach/poolside and many others!

With the Bobalong…the battle of the dropped baby bottle and lost pacifier is finally over!

My son and I just started using the Bobalong and I can’t rave enough about it. I’ll admit at first glance I was a bit skeptical about the need of a full on vest but after trying it on my son it’s not as bulky or awkward as I had feared.

The Bobalong vest has been designed with safety in mind, insuring that the bottle sleeve can not be maneuvered around baby’s neck and the weight is disbursed across babies shoulders.

The Bobalong is so comfortable that my son doesn’t even seem to notice that he’s wearing it aside from the fact that his paci, bottle or toys are in close range for retrieval. Just look at this guy and you’ll become a believer in how awesome this product is:

Need more convincing? Here are just a few of my favorite things about the Bobalong:
-The Bobalong is light weight and the fabric is soft
-The vest adjusts easily with velco making it a customized fit
-The velco closure makes putting on and taking the Bobalong off a breeze (I hate hate hate fussing with clothing/accessories and the Bobalong has passed the test)
-Changing the pacifier/accessory sleeve with the bottle sleeve is also easy and takes no time at all

Bobalong is such a fantastic product and company that we want you to try it for yourself. That’s right, Bobalong is offering one of these miracle vests to one of our MDM readers. A winner will be chosen using random.org on Wednesday July 20th.

GENIUS! You would think that after having my 6th baby, I would have thought of somthing like this somewhere over the years! Haha! Wow, this not only would end the issue of dropped baby items…but the problem I have is with carrying the pacifier, the teething ring, and the toy everywhere along with my baby! I have enough “stuff” to carry to and from the car and other places! I wouldn’t have to be constantly checking the carseat, the diaper bag, my purse….etc… to search for the missing item! You don’t know how many times I’ve had to run back to the car for something that I didn’t realize, my 5 month old tossed from her carseat. LOL! I’d LOVE to give this a try!
