“Letting Your Kids Play With Beads Without Creating a Nightmare Mess”

Beads don’t have to be scary but that’s not to say that I wasn’t (at one time) afraid of them. My daughter loves to play with beads. When my daughter was younger, she decided to get the bin of beads and of course, they spilled all over the floor. WHY WOULDN’T THEY? Tiny beads… everywhere. If you know anything about them, you’d know that even vacuums won’t pick up beads. They are like… “nope!”

Beads are a headache. Almost like glitter. Ah, but don’t get me started on glitter. That’s a story for another time.

This one particular day, my daughter wanted to play with the beads so bad so I came up with an idea. Why not pour them into a cookie sheet? That way, they could be contained and it would make it easier to clean up.

It actually worked. She was even able to make something and there was no bead disaster to follow. Sometimes you just have to think outside the box and… sigh, cave in and let them craft.
