Make-Up Tips From Middle School to College

Ages 10 to 13:
This is a good time to introduce moisturizer, sunscreen and a clear gloss or tinted lip balm (think Burt’s Bees).

Ages 14 to 18:
Even though teenage girls have a tendency to want to try to look older during this time, a lash defining mascara (Maybelline Great Lash), BB cream or tinted moisturizer with sunscreen, thin eyeliner at lash line, a kiss of bronzer, and sheer pinky brown lip gloss (Bobbi Brown Brownie) is all that is needed to enhance their natural beauty.

Ages 19 to 21:
Continue on with a great skincare and sun protection routine along with changing to a powder foundation, add concealer (Estee Lauder Longwear) a warm pink or cool peach blush (Nars Orgasm), volumizing mascara (Dior Show), lip stain (Clinique Chubby Sticks), and a taupe shadow can create a quick yet fresh makeup routine.

Ages 22 to 25:
Job hunting and graduate school call for stepping up the sophistication factor, yet still keeping it simple. You can’t go wrong with a well groomed brow, liquid foundation with SPF and medium coverage (Armani Luminous Silk), concealer with SPF (Dermablend Quick Fix), eye base (Laura Mercier Eye Canvas), dark brown or grey liquid liner (LORAC Front of the Line Pro) slightly lifted at the outer eye, lengthening/thickening mascara (Too Faced Lashgasm), highlight on top of cheek bone (By Terry Highlighting Illuminator) and a sheer berry lip (Bobbi Brown Sheer Lip Color).
