Here and there, I get emails from Tommee Tippee, alerting me to new and exciting things they plan on bringing to us. When I saw this I had to share it with you! At the beginning of August, Tommee Tippee released a new app called The Day Baby Was Born. It allows you to build a digital memory book from the early days of expecting all the way until baby was born.
Since so much of our lives are now shared via social media, I thought this was a really neat way to save and chronicle all those thoughts, memories, and well wishes from friends and family.
Here’s a shot from the example book they have posted on the website:
There’s journal sections where you can add how you’re feeling, measure ments and more, so you won’t forget later. There were a lot of things I couldn’t remember when I sat down to write my daughters baby book. I eventually got it all out, but it took a lot of thinking. In just a few steps, you can have it all saved for you! There’s even a page to enter your maternity photos, and details about what was going on when you went into labor.
There’s another page for writing a letter to baby. I love this idea! I thought about it, but didn’t do it. I wish I would have, because after she came so many thoughts and feelings changed. You really just don’t know what you will feel or think until baby is finally in your arms. Writing them a letter either before, or right after they were born is a nice way to share how you felt when they were born, when they get older.
Add some photo’s and birth announcement details, and you’re all set to go with a storybook that you can print or save and share on facebook. This is a fun app that will help you save the digital memories of expecting to arrival of a new baby. If you are expecing and decide to use the app, share your experience with us! Right now, none of us moms here are in baby making mode so we will all have to sit tight and wait to share our Tomme Tippee journal’s with you!
Be sure to follow Tommee Tippee around the web!
