Product Review: Bissell Crosswave All-In-One Multi-Surface Cleaner

I have been searching for over a year for a vacuum/shampooer for my floors and area rugs because we have a lot of grout that was dirty when we bought the house (Yay for unsealed grout!). I began to use a power cleaner when I decided it was too daunting of a task since our WHOLE house is full of this tile with nasty grout. After no luck on finding anything that would easily do the job – and after refusing to pay a professional cleaner – I decided to get on my hands and knees and try different cleaning solutions and methods. While they were successful, the task was so tedious and physically demanding. I have lower back problems and it doesn’t take much to put me out.

Behind The Scenes with fairlife!

When I first heard about fairlife, I honestly thought it was just another brand of milk. fairlife isn’t just milk, it’s ultra-filtered milk! I personally don’t drink water from the tap; I filter it, so why would it be strange to filter milk? It’s a BRILLIANT idea! fairlife filters their milk into its five main components: water, butterfat, protein, vitamins and minerals, and lactose. After these components have been removed, they are then added, except for lactose, back in at different proportions. You’re getting MORE protein, MORE calcium, the REAL stuff, not some yucky, chalky powder. Did you notice I said, no lactose, yeah, everyone can drink it! So fairlife has made you a one of a kind SUPERFOOD, and it’s delicious too! There is really is no better choice nutritionally when it comes to milk than fairlife ultra-filtered milk.

DIY Driftwood Christmas Tree Ornament

I went to a cute little beachy themed shop the other day where I found the inspiration for this ornament. The shop is typically costly and out of my range, but I always love to just browse. I came across an ornament that I loved and when I saw the price tag, there was no way I was buying it. They wanted $10.99 for something very similar to this one. It had a couple of small shells on it and it was shellacked with the tiniest amount of gold glitter on it.

Mothers of Future Drivers Unite

My daughter and I had a conversation the other day where she fantasize over the idea of being able to drive. She went on for quite some time describing the type of car she wanted, and how it would just have to be in her favorite color. She went on to remark that once she was the driver of her own car that she finally would be able to pick the music that was played on the radio.

Babywearing: Toddler Edition

This is called the “twist”, it’s where she turns her body so much that we have to put her down. We get fooled into thinking she wants to walk graciously beside us until she takes off and runs away. Pretty sure she is pulling some leaves and branches here so I fall over and she can escape.
