As a Modern Day Dad, I find less and less time to do things that I used to do. Don’t get me wrong, the rewards of fatherhood far exceed the little things, but slowly, I have had to learn how to integrate some of my fondest activities back into my daily routine.

Keys are one of my favorite things.
I used to collect misplaced keys when I was younger, putting them on big rings like a janitor. I’d jingle them around and drive my parents NUTS. Now I’m a little too old for that (though I do still have a pretty full keychain), I have directed my key obsession toward jewelry instead.
Before my daughter was born, I thought I was just so prepared for motherhood. I had all the “what to expect” books and I even read chapters to prepare myself for the first year. I was ready, bring it on!!
Ok, I made that up. There’s no such thing as a “Turkey Baster Hydration System” (just in case you needed clarification). At least, there wasn’t such a thing. I figured, since the weather is getting colder by the day and we are heading into cold and flu season, this was the perfect time to share my tale of resourcefulness when battling questionable toddler hydration.
