From the moment I first laid eyes on Bumbleride’s Indie stroller I was in love. You may remember when we listed it as our ‘Top 10 Summer ‘Must-Have’s’.” So you can imagine how ecstatic I was when I found out Bumbleride was sending me one to review! I am pretty sure I jumped up and down on my couch- actually I know I did. I was THAT excited and for good reasoning. This is one INCREDIBLE stroller!
We love blueberries. By love, I mean we are kind of obsessed with them. They are just so tasty and easy to eat and store! When they go on sale, I buy extra and freeze them. There is alway a pint of fresh blueberries in my fridge. We have them in our smoothies, smashed up on bread instead of jelly, straight from the freezer as a snack, on the side of our eggs in the morning. Blueberry muffins, loaf cakes, tarts, whatever. Love them. Saturday morning my sweet, lovely, precious daughter…..woke me up at about 4:45 a.m. Ugh. I was dragging big time. She wouldn’t go back to sleep and I needed to do something that would keep me moving or else I was going to fall asleep standing. So, I thought about my blueberries. And I thought about those delicious looking pull apart breads that have been floating around Pinterest. You can see where I’m going with this….
With a tight economy that isn’t getting any better, it’s more important now than ever to watch every dollar you have. A family budget can certainly help save you some real money and you can be proud of doing something that the federal government can’t do. You don’t even have to sacrifice much with a budget, you just have to be smart.
Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?
SpongeBob, for course – and he’s got a brand spankin’ new DVD!
Just when you think you’ve gotten the hang of nursing, or found that perfect bottle/nipple combo, it’s time to add something new into the mix. Solid food! When you get to the baby food aisle at the grocery store, you might be a little overwhelmed with the abundant amount of options in front of you. I mean, where do you begin? What’s the “best” brand? Or hey, maybe you don’t want to buy! You want to make it yourself, but how and what will you need?
I am obsessed with reusable water bottles.
They’re great for the environment, they come in cool colors and patterns and they keep my beverage on hand. I love them so much that my husband actually scolds me for buying new ones all the time because he thinks I’m insane and he hates washing them. (He also says I’m insane for hoarding reusable bags, but that’s another story…)
We are excited to announce that Mr. Clean is one of the brand icons competing in this year’s “New York’s Madison Avenue Advertising Walk of Fame.” As seen on USA Today some 20 icons are in the running but only two will be enshrined on Oct. 4 during Advertising Week 2011 in New York City! Voters will have a chance to pick the nation’s top two ad icons — and top two ad slogans. The winners will be hoisted as permanent banners on the ad industry’s version of Hollywood & Vine: New York’s Madison Avenue Advertising Walk of Fame.
I was beyond excited when I found out I would be getting a Boba to review. I have what some people call a baby-wearing obsession, but to me it is so much more than just an obsession. It is the personal connection, the interaction and bonding, providing security to my son, and so much more. Not to mention, it allows me to be hands-free, which makes it that much more worth it.
I was browsing around on Pinterest and found this brilliant little idea. Baking Obsession posted a stuffed baguette recipe, and I was in love! I decided I had to try it out right away. It’s a fun way to serve bread and dips! Vera used a goat cheese stuffing, but I went with my favorite spinach dip. I’m throwing in the recipe, just in case you don’t have an easy one handy. The best part about this spinach dip, is how ridiculously cheap it is (and ridiculously good too!).
