I know it sounds backwards… but few things help one feel less isolated than being told you are “strong” when you are suffering with PPD. I don’t feel strong. I don’t want to feel strong. I want to feel happy. I want to feel better. Telling me I am strong reminds me of how much weight I’ve had to lift emotionally throughout my life, and right now nothing about my past matters.
We are super excited for the twitter parties this week!
To be honest, I was a little skeptical. I mean… how could something that would be shipped to my house actually turn into a delicious dinner? Well, I was not prepared to be blown away. Blue Apron allows you to create delicious, chef-designed recipes at home. Each week, they deliver all the farm-fresh ingredients you need, right to your doorstep. The best part is, the give you the exact proportions. There is no measuring on your part, you just follow the instructions they send you. We typically buy large center cut pork loins when they are on sale. This saves us a lot of money and produces a lot of pulled pork for us to use. Sometimes we cook the pork and use it all up, or other times we freeze the leftovers to use it later. I am always coming up with different ways to use the pork so we don’t get tired of it, and this is quite possibly my favorite way.
When my daughter comes home from school the first thing she does is drop her backpack on the floor and head straight to the refrigerator. It’s almost as if she had not eaten in weeks the way she opens the refrigerator door and scans the area for a snack to satisfy her appetite.
New twist on an appetizer favorite!! If you love jalapeño poppers and grilled cheese, you will definitely love this sandwich. The crispy panko, roasted jalapeño’s sharp cheddar cheese will leave the distinctive taste of jalapeño poppers with an extra grilled cheese bonus. When you think of jalapeño poppers, you probably think about the appetizers you eat before the great meal. It is just a snack before the main course but you won’t think about them that way ever again after having this sandwich.
Sometimes you just have to have breakfast for dinner. This delicious protein bowl is the perfect mix of tasty and hearty. By using Alexia Sweet Potato Fries to give it a sweet kick, you really can’t go wrong with this quick & easy meal.
