When the doctor says you should probably rest and put your feet up, you don’t argue. This pregnancy has been so different from my first.
First day of summer break and I wouldn’t have spent my morning any other way. Spent a little time in the ER recently just making sure little one stays put for the next few weeks (at least). She’s doing great, as sassy as ever and ready to have some fun out in this world. Big sis can’t wait. I’m 35 weeks! :)
I was compensated for this post but all opinions are strictly my own.
I remember back before we bought our house, it felt like we moved often. Leases were up, locations were changed, and it felt like we moved so frequently.
When my husband and I got married, I inherited a new brother and three lovely and independent sisters that have all made such an impact on my life. Each of them with their own unique personalities and traits that I hold dear to my heart, I have enjoyed many memories together with them throughout the years.
Memorial Day is upon us, but the 4th of July is right around the corner. Make this patriotic wreath just in time to celebrate two significant holidays. This wreath has a red, white and blue theme with stars as accents to the burlap, denim and gingham fabrics. It’s easy to make, but slightly time consuming. The end results are worth it, though.
I still can’t believe I have about 3-5 weeks left of this pregnancy. It has gone by so fast but I will admit that these last weeks are tough… but not unbearable. I feel very blessed to have had a smooth pregnancy that wasn’t hard or complicated.

I LOVE Cougar Town. Well, basically I love *almost* anything that any of the 6 former ‘Friends’ do… throw some Scrubs people into the mix and I’m in heaven. Cougar Town turned into an immediate fave of mine, I love the Cul-de-Sac Crew and especially the Big Carl (it’s my goal to get my own giant wine glass someday and name it Big Ron).
We’re teaming up with some of our favorite brands and bloggers to bring you an EPIC baby shower giveaway!

This is one of my favorite breakfast ideas ever. My daughter is also a fan. I have to give full credit to my husband who makes the most amazing Toad-In-The-Hole sandwich, ever.
We’ve tried to approach the new addition to the family as not ANOTHER child but a best friend for our (almost) 8 year old. By doing it this way, she doesn’t feel like she’s about to be replaced but feels excited because she’s gaining a best friend, a sibling, someone who will (hopefully) want to play all the time. It’s cute and I’m excited to see our oldest transition into big sister.
