I was looking for a way to cut down the calories in my morning smoothie.  I wanted something that would help me feel fuller for longer, but also be just as healthy, if not healthier than the regular milk I was already drinking.  I looked at all of the different options my local store offered and most seemed bland and tasteless, until I noticed something different on the shelf.  I had probably looked right over it a hundred times in my normal shopping, but today would be different.  I picked up a container of Silk Vanilla Almondmilk, and it looked like a pretty good alternative for my smoothies.  Something about it seemed like it would be a more natural and healthy addition.  As I started reading the nutritional information I realized it was exactly what I was looking for.  Could it be that it was lower in calories than the low-fat milk I was already drinking, but also flavored with vanilla?!  It looked absolutely great, and a perfect way to continue on my healthy smoothie breakfast routine.
