“Sometimes being pregnant isn’t all glowing and roses!”

Being pregnant wasn’t exactly the easiest thing for me. I was so excited in the beginning, but it wasn’t long before all the excitement faded and I began to dread the 9 months I had ahead of me. I actually hate to say that, but it’s the truth! A very small percentage of pregnant women are affected by a much more severe form of morning sickness called Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG). If you are one of them, you might feel alone and like no one really understands how you feel! This is much more serious than your typical morning sickness, and there can be serious complications if it isn’t treated. Be sure to see your doctor if you feel that your morning sickness has gone beyond what you feel is normal. Though less than 2% of pregnant women experience this intense and severe disease, it shouldn’t be taken lightly.

I decided to join up with A Million Moms to share my story so other moms out there who may be suffering will know they aren’t alone. It’s not just “in your head” and you aren’t over reacting to morning sickness! To read the rest of my story, click here.
