As a mom, time is valuable, especially when you have a toddler and work from home. Quick meals are really the best way to maximize my time. I try to focus on things that I know the toddler and the oldest will eat.
Thankfully, I discovered the Tyson Refrigerated Fully Cooked Chicken at my local Publix and I immediately knew this would be the answer to saving me time and money.
I can’t tell you how often I go to reach for something to make that I know would be much easier with fully cooked chicken ready to add in. Stir fry, chicken wraps, salads, you name it. I actually love the idea of antibiotic free chicken so readily available for me.
Once I grabbed all of the ingredients to make my daughter’s favorite Broccoli & Chicken alfredo, I got to work!
I made sure to warm the chicken first in a little oil. I wanted to give it a nice crispy edge which is how I usually like it.
Once that was done, I added in the broccoli as I felt that by using frozen broccoli, it would thaw pretty quickly and it was actually quite easy. No steaming required here.
Once I cooked the pasta and headed up the alfredo sauce, I tossed everything together in a pot (or a bowl) so the flavors could merge together.
This was definitely a meal that was kid-approved which is actually a pretty big deal if you think about it.
While some of you may know this product as Tyson Grilled & Ready Refrigerated Fully Cooked Chicken, you will now find it in your local store as Tyson Refrigerated Fully Cooked Chicken and it has some new changes:

The alfredo was easy. Super easy. Almost too easy. Once you find a meal that your kids enjoy, you really do try to make it as often as possible and this could very well mean that you might be coming up with different variations of their favorite meal.
1. Boil the water and start cooking your favorite pasta.
2. Heat a small amount of oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Sprinkle the chicken with the salt and pepper. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until the chicken is heated. Add in your broccoli. I use frozen so it worked well together.
3. Warm up your alfredo sauce.
Add the chicken, broccoli and pasta in a bowl and toss to coat. Sprinkle with the parsley and serve immediately.
