DIY Tote Bags


We will be working with Martha Stewart Living for the entire year to come up with some of our favorite crafts using her products!

So far, we’ve made Glittered Mason Jar Terrariums & got to test out her Circle Edge Punch. This month, we were sent a huge box of stencils, paints and paint tools to come up with something fun.

Tote Bags came to my mind! For this project, I headed over to Joann Fabric & Craft Stores to purchase the Tote Bags! I also made sure to get some Textile Medium since I was going to be using acrylic paint. Textile Medium makes the acrylic paint more permanent, washable and less likely to chip. Of course, I found everything I needed at the Joann Fabric & Craft Store so I was ready to rock and roll with the project!
