The Holidays have finally arrived! Thanksgiving flew by and now December is right around the corner. I know that this time of the year can be stressful. There is everything from decorating the house to Christmas shopping to preparing for family to come in. Regardless of how busy of a time this can become the most fun part of this time is watching the true happiness that shines through our children during the Christmas Season. Bellow are 20 fun and easy crafts to do with your kids at home to get into the joyous Christmas spirit!
Gingerbread Houses, Trains, and Gingerbread Men!
These are easy to find at almost every store! The gingerbread kits usually come with everything you need to help your kids start off the season right! This is the perfect way to get into the Holiday spirit.
Santa “handprint” Ornaments
All you need is some flour, salt, and a little water. Once everything is mixed together a mold is created to print out your kid’s handprint. Once the mold is dried feel free to turn the handprint into a Santa and add any decoration or detail you and your kids wish!
Reindeer Food
This is always a fun one to do with the kids. After all, the reindeers need food with all the traveling they are doing on Christmas Eve! I like to get little baggies (you can have your kids decorate them) and add some oats, cinnamon, and glitter into the bags and there is your reindeer food.
Popsicle Stick Snowman
Grab a handful of popsicle stick and paint (black, white, and orange). Stick them all together and then bring your Snowman to life.
Popsicle Stick Christmas Trees
You can do this while you are making the Snowman! Grab some green, brown, red, yellow, and blue paint to decorate your tree.
