12 years agoMy wife and I got married right after I entered Marine Corps. Our honeymoon consisted of the drive from North Carolina to Washington state when I was assigned to my first duty station. We have never had real honeymoon and after 14 years I believe she deserves it. If we were to win this, this would be do the job.

12 years agoMy mom died 10 months ago, and my life is still in shambles. This month would’ve been her 61st birthday. I vowed to go away someplace beautiful in her honor, because she never got to travel much… she was too busy taking care of her family. I want to see the world because she didn’t get to in her short 60 years. 12 years agoMy husband and are coming up on our 4th wedding anniversary. We were an immediate family because of my beautiful daughter who, at the time, was 6. As we were finding out about our next little edition we discovered my husband had a kidney disease. That “edition” was exactly 7 months old on the day of my husband’s kidney transplant. We now have a beautiful, healthy family of 5 because we were blessed with another little boy on 11-11-11. While we have had many blessings in out life, the stress of new life, death, illness, moving, job changes and little everyday stressors have taken a toll on my husband and I both emotionally and financially. I think it would be so wonderful to be able to escape for a little bit and just enjoy our blessings! Thank you for the opportunity!

12 years agoFirst off…I had no idea that commenting on the FB post would leave it here as well, so I hope that doesn’t void my real entry here.
I have been to Cancun before and it is absolutely beautiful. It took my breath away. I felt like I was in paradise, but really I wasn’t.
I went with my ex-boyfriend when I was 22 (11 years ago) who was abusive and just mean. He was a drunk, too. We had just broken up and so he offered to take me to Cancun: “Since we’re never going to get married, let’s at least take the honeymoon we’ll never have and call it a vacation.” Those were his words. I bought into it.
I was excited to visit a new country….a tropical paradise, nonetheless! Then when we were headed there, all of these thoughts started crossing my mind: “Maybe he plans to kill me!” So, I was uneasy the whole time, not to mention I knew he’d be drinking and that was when the abuse always occurred. Nothing horrible happened, but it was not a pleasurable experience as it should have been.
I know you must think I am crazy for actually going through with and looking back, it was stupid. But I was able to see Cancun for all of it’s beauty! I just wish that it had been with someone I loved and could have enjoyed it with. Which is why I am entering…
My husband and I are currently repairing our relationship after dealing with some issues and I would love nothing more than for us to be able to take our little family away for a little while to just totally escape and relax. I would love to create a new memory of Cancun with people I love, create new experiences and actually be able to fully enjoy it.

12 years agoThis would be a great surprise for my family! After years of being a single mom, I met a great man who loves my boys as his own. He didn’t even flinch at the thought of supporting a ready-made family and has always treated us as if it was his absolute privilege to be with us! He (we) sacrificed for it, with a couple nights in Napa instead of a honeymoon and shortly after we were married we ended up being blessed with more kids! An Aspergers diagnosis for our oldest caused a tough decision for me to stop working and stay home, and instead of saving for a house or getting yearly vacations…we just enjoy each day as it comes and are grateful for what we DO have…each other!

Spending time really exploring and enjoying Cancun at the Hard Rock Hotel would be a wonderful way to celebrate our 40th anniversary (May 26, 2013). I’m going to close my eyes and click my red heels together and visualize that now! What a great promotion!!!!!

12 years agoOkay, so we’ve never been to Cancun before! I’m excited imagining the possibility. When you have a big family, you always think about all the trips you can do once your kids are grown up…because (for families like ours) an actual big vacay, where you go somewhere amazing just isn’t possible. So, to actually consider taking your whole family and travelling to CANCUN seems so far fetched. I would totally use our tax return for the plane tix, pack our bags, and make memories having the time of our LIVES!!!!

12 years agoI would love to win this vacation because it IS a vacation! We have not been on a vacation for over 3 years! My kids have only spent a total of 4 nights in a (cheap) hotel in their entire lives (7yo & 4yo). Even though they were cheap rooms, it was pretty special to them so they thought it was great! And no, we have never been to Cancun. We have only left our home state once in the past 7 years!!

She did an AMAZING job raising me and my sister, and it would be fantastic to reward her with this unreal vacation package! 12 years agoTwice for vacation we have traveled to Cancun. It is such a wonderful place and you can be assured you will love every minute of it. I have a 25th wedding anniversary coming up and would love to spend it in Cancun. Even though it is our anniversary it would be great to have my family of four there to celebrate. We have been at the Cancun Palace (soon to be the Hard Rock) together before on our last trip and it was a blast times ten!

12 years agoMy almost 14 year old has been begging us for a tropical vacation for years. We usually drive 8 hours to Elkhart Lake, WI every year & we are ready for something new & fabulous! This past year has been a steam roller of a year with having a beautiful baby girl, turning 40, and losing my job due to federal cutbacks. A really nice vacation would be a great way to celebrate our blessings this year & forget about the stresses of life if only for a short time. Thank you for making one family really happy!!!

My husband and I have always wanted to go to Cancun but it was never in our budget, and still isn’t with 2 boys. My husband’s birthday is on September 1, which is when you are announcing the winner. 12 years agoWe would LOVE this trip! After being married for almost 8 years and having 3 kids we really haven’t had much time for anything. Shortly after getting out of the army my husband jumped on with a govt. contracting job and that took him to Kuwait. He was there for 2 years and I just couldn’t be away from him any more so I packed up the kids (then 2 and 1) and we moved to Kuwait to be with my husband. We lived in Kuwait for 2 more years added another kiddo to the pack and then moved back to the states. We have been in TX for almost 2 years now and the hubby will be on his way back over seas for another year or 2 tour soon. Actually getting a vacation and spending some awesome time together as a family would be totally amazing!

We just have gone to our local beach, in fact, this year was the first year my twins have been to the beach, but we go for the day, we have never stayed over there. My husband and I have been together for over 20 years, but are about to have our first child next month. 12 years agoMy fiance and I have been dreaming of getting married at this resort for such a long time before it was converted to the Hard Rock. Unfortunately its just not in the budget for us or my family. It would be so awesome if we won this trip! We can finally get married and have a family vacation all in one! 12 years agoBoy could I do with this break!! 2 close family members have died suddenly in the last 4 months and to top it off both my kids have been at home for weeks after they should have gone back to school, fair enough my youngest is only 2, but my eldest hasn’t got a school yet as he’s got autism and we are still waiting on the paperwork going through!! The beach in cancun looks AWESOME in comparison!

12 years agoThis would be an awesome vacation for my family. My husband & I were unable to enjoy a honeymoon due to a serious medical condition I was diagnosed with less than 2 mos before our wedding 7 yrs ago. When I see photos from people’s honeymoons & see how happy they are it really reminds me of what we missed out on. I would like to have those memories as well as make more with my children. We haven’t been able to take a real vacation together as a family. This would be an amazing trip to win!! :)

12 years agoI would like to win this package because tomorrow is my husband and I 5th year anniversary and we have never gone on a vacation ever together, not even a honeymoon. Now we have a child it is hard for me to just pick up and leave without her because of my anxieties. With this, We would be able to take grandma with us to also watch the little one in the evening and she can be apart of the kids club in the day. So we would have more freedom to have a great time together as a couple when needed. :-)
