Happy Pi Day on the 14th!
Confused? Not to worry, let me explain.
Pi Day is celebrated on March 14th (3/14) around the world. Pi (Greek letter ” “) is the symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter which is approximately 3.14159. +
To make it easier for those you don’t speak nerd-dom, Pi Day is an annual celebration commemorating the mathematical constant (pi). Pi Day is observed on March 14 (or 3/14 in month/day date format), since 3, 1 and 4 are the three most significant digits of in the decimal form.
In 2009, the United States House of Representatives actually supported the designation of Pi Day. It’s legit, ya’ll.
There are many ways of observing Pi Day. These include eating pie and discussing the significance of the number . What better way to celebrate Pi Day than to have some actual pie? I am pretty much obsessed with Marie Callender’s Pot Pies.
Growing up, we had a Marie Callender’s Restaurant near us and we would go there often. The warm, fresh pot pies are a memory I will always have.
Thankfully, I can go to the store and pick up a frozen pot pie <3
Are you in love with the pies too? Head on over and rate and review any Marie Callender’s products: http://clvr.li/YbnAp3. You can also check out Marie Callender’s blog for party ideas, how-to’s and more: http://clvr.li/Ye3AlJ
