Why Every Mom Should Own Biokleen Bac-Out

If you cloth diaper, you may have heard of this product. If not, then let me introduce you to your new favorite cleaning product! If you have kids, pets, carpets, tend to spill like me, own a car, or basically live and breath then you should have some Bac-Out. So what is it? It’s an environmentally friendly, non toxic enzyme cleaner. This stuff gets any organic stain out of anything. Seriously. I bought it to use on my cloth diapers to get rid of stains, and also to help keep odors down. After seeing how awesome this stuff worked on the diapers, I got curious. My kiddo loves blueberries. She would eat them all day long if I let her. As you know, blueberries create the mother of all stains! I rank it with red wine, and beets. I had tried all the typical stain fighting remedies before, with little success. There was always a faint stain left behind no matter what. Until I tried Bac-Out! The proof is in the pictures:

Blueberry stains

Here’s the blueberry covered bib. Not only is this a blueberry stain, but it’s a stain that sat there for a week because I didn’t know about it. No hope right? Or so I thought. I grabbed my trusty Bac-Out and hoped for the best. All I did was squirt a few drops on the stained areas, and let it sit for about an hour or two. Then washed as usual.

Here’s the bib after a regular wash:

Not even a hint of blueberry stain left! Bac-Out’s live enzymes ate away at the blueberry stain and left nothing behind. The lime scent is amazing too! So fresh and clean smelling, but not overpowering and it doesn’t linger like other cleaners. After success with the bib stain, I went crazy and tried it on a few stubborn pet stains on the carpet.

I had tried everything under the sun, and spent a lot of money on special pet stain removers with no luck. Stains kept showing up again and the faint smell never really went away. One treatment of Bac-Out and it’s like those stains never happened! You can use it in a steam cleaner too, and clean your whole carpet with this amazing stuff.

There’s a long list of other uses for Bac-Out, from cleaning the bathroom, to cleaning the interior of your car and more. No one should be without this stain fighting, odor eliminating miracle in a bottle. Check out Biokleen’s website for other great products too. With their promise to be “tough on dirt, gentle on the earth”, you’ll be glad you did!

Biokleen is awesome sauce!! I use it to spray our dirty diapers so they are not too stinky when I go to wash them!

So glad that you posted this and that I stumbled upon it! I cloth diaper two of my three children and it sounds like it would work wonders on stained inserts. Do you think it could get stains out of some already washed vintage baby clothes? I have some things for my daughter that were mine when I was little but there are a few stains that I would love to somehow remove to restore them for my baby girl. Thanks, I enjoyed looking over your blog.

It might work! Since that stains are already set, it may take a few rounds of soaking, then washing. I would test a small area before you go crazy, just to be sure the Bac-Out doesn’t cause damage. But I’ve never experienced and problems with it. No faded colors and no suspicious holes in clothing. My best guess is, it’s safe even for vintage clothing. If you try it, let us know how it worked out!
