As I’ve said several times before, we aim to bring you DIYs that are fairly easy to make. This one is no exception.
All you need is:
- grapevine wreath tree
- yarn
- spray adhesive
- glitter
- spray paint
All-in-all, this project cost about $14, but you can reproduce this project for even less by reusing some of those items like the spray adhesive and glitter. So really let’s say less than $10. *wink*
First, lightly spray paint your tree white. I did not aim to cover it in a solid white because I wanted it to look more natural, like a snowy tree.
Next, put a plastic bag down to collect excess glitter. Spray parts of your tree at a time with the spray adhesive, then sprinkle the glitter over as you go. Coat it as heavily or lightly as you like.
While the tree is still tacky to the touch, wrap your yarn around the tree. I started from the top then worked my way back up once I got to the bottom.
All done!! It will take 24-48 hours for your tree to dry.
Here is mine in one of my Christmas vignette’s.
