As much as I love gadgets, once the initial “OMG WOOOO” wears off, they start to look a little dull. Now don’t get me wrong, I still love my Android phone, my Wii, my laptop and my Nintendo 3DS but they all just look so… blah. When I feel less than fancy, I go shopping for something bright and colorful to wear – so who says your gadgets can’t do the same thing?

Gelaskins offers skins for darn near everything you could want to jazz up – from phones and laptops to video game accessories and everything in between! And we’re not just talking changing them from black to pink. They’ve got over 1000 art pieces to choose from, making your boring old laptop the talk of the town faster than you can say “sticker slappin’ fun!”
They even have corresponding FREE image files designed to match whichever skin you choose so the carpet can match the drapes... uhh... I mean...
If for some reason you are super hard to please and can’t find a single design you like, you can upload your OWN designs or photos and make custom skins for your devices. How cool is that?!
I went skin crazy, picking up new outfits for my phone, my laptop, my 3DS and my Wii. They went on smooth like butter, once I lined up the more difficult corners and pop-outs. Skinning all of them took me less than 10 minutes, and that’s including the time it took me to “ooh” and “aah” over them and snap some pictures. Would you like to see how they turned out? OF COURSE YOU WOULD!

The only problem I ran into was that the rear skin for my HTC Incredible didn’t fit. Super bummer, but it wasn’t Gelaskin’s fault. I’ve got an extended life battery in there, so it increased the dimensions of the back panel. Keep that in mind when you order – that additional “after-market” modifications or accessories may not work with their products. I ended up just trimming it a little and it still looks pretty darn good.

13 years agoI would get one for my phone except I’ll be getting a new one in 2 months so that would be kind of a waste unless the codes don’t expire before then. Otherwise I’ll probably get one for my DS Lite or mp3 player :o)
