This year, I have been trying my best to get healthy. I’ve upped my exercise game and have made it a goal to exercise for at least 30 minutes a day. Now that school has started back, it’s been harder to get into a routine of constant daily exercise but I’m taking every chance I get to achieve my weekly goals.
I have been using a step counter, which tracks my steps and daily exercise. I try to make it a goal to hit at least 8,000 steps a day, you’d be surprised how hard that is when you work from home!!! I also try to stay active and do work around the house to get my steps in too. It really helps.
Another thing is bike rides! If I can get motivated enough, I could go for a nice, long bike ride with my husband. I tell him to lead the way and I will follow behind and before you know it, we have just ridden 6 miles and I feel great.
Lastly, I am really trying to drink more water too! Believe it or not, this is one of the hard ones. I don’t really like the taste of water but I notice when I add lemon or other things to the water, I tend to drink more of it!
