Charlie Banana has to be my favorite cloth diapers I own! If you haven’t checked out my post about them, please do so HERE.
Charlie Banana is giving away a “GOODBYE DISPOSABLE, HELLO CLOTH” diaper to one lucky reader! This is seriously the cutest diaper I have ever seen! LOVE!
Modern Day Moms is an award-winning publication centered around motherhood that is real and unfiltered. Basically, we don't sugarcoat anything and aren't afraid to tell you the truth. Let's be best friends, we will make you feel more normal.
1. We have begun cloth diapering our 1 year old and will fully cloth diaper our next little man (will be born in 9 days) to save money because we are a family of 9. And I never realized the effect of disposible diapers until recently and want to make a small differance!
2. “liking” DONE!!
I started to cloth diaper because I wanted to save money. Now the guilt of disposables gets me. …and they are just too cute. There is something about seeing my little dude’s bottom covered in cow print. :)
I love CDing because of all the obvious reasons like saving the environment and not having to buy disposables. But I secretly like it because the cute factor is HUGE!
I love my cloth diapers. I started using them with my oldest at 4 mos old and my youngest at 2 months. My youngest has never had diaper rash with his cloth, and he is always in them. My oldest is starting to transition to potty. I love that they are soft against my baby’s skin and that I am doing my part to reduce our carbon footprint.
I want to cloth diaper my little man overnight because he wets so much and he’s sensitive. I also think it will help the transition to undies for potty training.
Wow, I really want to try this cloth diaper! Never tried one and what a great one to try for the first time! I want to be “greener” :) and also they donate to a great cause “operation smile” how awesome is that!
Love this giveaway! I cloth diaper because it’s one less child’s diapers clogging up landfills. It’s easier on the budget, and when combined with cloth wipes, it’s a huge chunk of money that we’re not spending every month. And, they’re so adorable, how could I not?
I started to cloth diaper, to save money. But one of the main contributors to the switch was the chemical smell that appeared several mths ago in my disposables. I first noticed it after my daughter’s 6mth appt, she had vaccinations. I kept smelling a weird smell and thought there was something wrong with her! So I sniffed the diapers when they were clean, and sure enough it was them NOT her. Thank God!
I am choosing to cloth diaper because its safer for my little one, its better for the environment and since we will be living in Indonesia after our baby is born where diapers are even more expensive than in the US.
I cloth diaper because it’s better for my baby’s bottom, my pocket book and the environment. The wonderful thing about it aside from the prviously mentioned reasons is that I get to put such cute designs on my baby. =-) (Such as the one being given away. So cute!)
I only have one cloth diaper! So the only reasons I can give of why I love cloth diaper is because of the reduced land waste, reduced cost, and reduced amount of chemicals on baby’s bum! I need me some Charlie Banana!!!:)
I love Charlie Banana diapers too! I’ve got 3 of the one size ones, but I would love to try one of the sized diapers! I cloth diaper for several reasons, but the main one right now is because I don’t have to keep buying (and transporting!) packs of diapers.
I just started cloth diapering a few weeks ago. I love how cute they are, I love all the different styles, and I looooove saving money not having to buy disposables. Helping the environment is icing on the cake.
I cloth diaper to do my part keeping posies out of the landfills, and because they are much better on my daughter’s skin, and also fluffy butts are so darn cute.
I cloth diaper because it is another way I feel as if I am bonding with my child. Also, Because I truly believe my son deserves a nice soft cloth on his bum, and not a papery rough envelope containing chemicals…
We cloth diaper because we feel as young parents we can set an example for others our own age or younger and teach them how to be more efficient wheather that means cost effective or simply preserving our enviroment. In the past few weeks we have turned a few babies into cloth diaper babies and that feeling is amazing! Hearing the parents say “i never thought it to be so easy” is what we look for. :)
1. i love the look of the cloth diapers also i love the ease and how the baby looks alot more comfortable in cloth versus sposies also they are cute and economical so you can save the earth and save your wallet cloth diapers rock:)
We want to reduce the sheer amount of our trash output. Disposable diapers are one of the most environmentally unfriendly things you can do. Not to mention they are so heavy and gross to take out to the trash.
I also want to reduce the amount of chemicals my family is exposed to.
I have been cloth diapering for over two years now. I just had my second baby 3 months ago and love seeing all the diapers hanging. My husband and I try to be as green as possible by recycling, cloth diapering and doing whatever else we can. I feel that cloth diapering is giving my children a great start to a safer and greener future. I wish all parents would just try cloth diapering so they can see how easy and better it is for their children!
I cloth diaper to save money and to keep a few disposables from the landfills. After working as a landfill regulator and seeing how much goes into them, I strive to keep as much out of them as possible for.
I cloth diaper for various reasons – no diaper rash, less waste, cute baby bottoms, easy to do with Charlie Banana! This is the one diaper design I don’t have – so cute!!!
We cloth diaper so that we can feel self-reliant, without needing to keep giving money to large corporations and without having to run to the store every few days to buy more!
We cloth diaper because I have a little ginger baby at home with the most sensitive skin ever! We love Charlie Banana Never once has my baby got diaper rash from these diapers :) We LOVE your diapers, and already “like” you on Facebook.
We cloth diaper for handfuls of reasons! To save some money, to be prepared for future children, to keep our children healthy, and to be a little ‘green’… It helps that diapers are so stinking cute these days too!
My son is 8 months old and we started to cloth diaper due to the expense of disposable, to be Earth-friendly and because they’re so darn cute! I would love to win this diaper for my little guy, he looks so handsome in his Charlie’s!
My son is 8 months old and we started to cloth diaper due to the expense of disposables, to be more Earth-friendly and because they’re so darn cute! I would love to add this diaper to our Charlie Banana collection, right now we have 22 Charlies and this would be a great addition.
I have not clothed diapered yet but I am eager to give it a go! Our family has been making changes to help our environment and we’re teaching our 3 yr old to do as we are for our planet. Her baby sister is currently in disposable and what an awesome way to make this change that I’ve wanted to do by wining these!!!
I do not cloth diaper yet, but came across these in my search for the best and most economical cloth diaper…we have used gdiapers in the past. I love this little cover!!!!
I decided to cloth diaper my son because I could not imagine my family creating soooo much trash by using disposable diapers. Not to mention they’d live in the landfills forever, ugh. We are also happy with the money that it saves us too.
We just switched from disposables to cloth with our 16 month old to help cut costs and the smell from the garbage was horrible! We have a second child due in November and we can’t wait to start cloth with her!
We chose to cloth diaper years ago because the cost of disposable diapers was just too expensive for us. I have continued using CDs almost full time to keep our waste down in the landfill.
Although our LO is not born yet, I couldn’t imagine not cloth diapering! Just the fact that’s it’s better for the baby and environment makes it appealing, as does the cost. And let’s be real- cloth diapers are so much cuter! :)
I cloth diaper because I don’t want the chemicals in disposables against my baby’s skin, I don’t want to send tons of diapers to the landfills, I don’t want to uses the resources and add to the pollution it takes to make disposables, I want something soft and confortable next to my baby’s skin, and THEY ARE SO DARN CUTE!
I have decided to cloth diaper my baby girl due in December beacause it’s better for her bum, the environment and my wallet :-) It doesn’t hurt that they’re adorable too!!!
1. I started cloth diapering just to save money. The more I got into it, the more I loved it for other reasons. I HATE the smell that comes off of disposibles… the “staydry” smell. To me, it’s just a chemical smell and I am not comfortable with that against my baby’s skin, 24 hours a day for the next 2 years. Cloth diapering is so much more natural. I also couldn’t believe the amount of trash from disposibles. I really want to do my part to reduce my “footprint”.
We cloth because its a great foundation for my husband & I to introduce to our daughter: helping the planet helps us, the convenient way is not the only way, a little effort goes a long way, less chemicals the better, becoming an advocate for the “less waste” campaign, & they are cute. Thanks!
We cloth diaper because it is a better choice both economically and environmentally but most importantly, we use cloth because it keeps all those nasty chemicals in sposies off our little one.
We cloth diaper because it is environmentally friendly, cost effective, cute, and healthy for our baby. No diaper rash or nasty chemicals on our little girl!
I cloth diaper for SO many reasons ;)! Let’s see…to save money, to be green, for my sons tush to be cute and comfy, to help prevent rashes, to make diapering FUN :D, and I could go on and on.
I love cloth diapering. It saves money, is better for the environment, and is better for baby! Anyways who really likes cleaning gel beads off their baby when a disposable gives out!
My baby is due in a month, but I have my cloth diaper stash built and ready (but really, who doesn’t need more?). Why? Because it saves money, it saves resources, and saves my baby’s skin from a million chemicals in disposables, and to top it off…cloth diapers are just so stinkin’ cute!!
We started cloth to save money, but I fell in love with how easy it is! I love that I don’t have to make crazy last minute runs to the store because we’re out if diapers. Right now we’re getting ready for LO #2 so we need more diapers!
I’m not a mom yet but I’m anxious to try cloth diapers. I’m really trying to cut back on waste, trash and things that are just not green in general in our household. Plus, they are so much better for precious baby bottoms.
We cloth diaper for many reason’s. First being putting cloth on my babies bottom is much more clean and chemical free (compared to pampers for example). It saves us sooo much money~we also use cloth wipes which also cuts down. I can’t forget by cloth diapering its one less diaper laying in the land fill…..LOVE CLOTH DIAPERING :-)
I cloth diaper because it’s better for my baby and I try to do what’s best for the planet. Also where I live the trash pick up is only every other week so disposables would stink up my house.
I cloth diaper to save money, to produce less garbage, because I like doing laundry, because I don’t like chemicals on my baby’s bum, because cloth diapers are adorable, and because my baby’s fluff is cuter than your baby’s sposie!!
I cloth diaper because I too am doing what I can to help our mother earth and keep those yucky disposables out of our landfills and also I, like many, am on a tight budget and this helps save money. Plus, the cloths out there are pretty cute too!! I haven’t had the opportunity to try Charlie Banana yet, so thank you for the giveaway chance!!
I love to clothe diaper as I feel good that I’m helping to save the earth (one step at a time) I’m saving money and I’m not using chemicals on my Baby. I started late but we are now full time clothe diapering with clothe wipes at 17months. She seems to be more confortable in clothe. A big reason too – Her butt looks so cute when walking in fluff!
I cloth diaper because I just can’t stand the thought of putting all that plastic crap on my baby time after time. I guess there is the environmental factor, but pails in comparison to thinking about my baby’s health.
I love cloth diapers because they aren’t full of yucky chemicals, they are cute, they have the potential to save money, and because it helps the environment.
I love the idea of cloth diapers, better for the planet and you only have to make the investment once. And if you are organized you will never run out.
I love cloth diapers & only have 4 covers since I’m new to this cloth world. I received them used due to my financial situation. I love the prints and you can get them at the local Babies R us.
I just switched to cloth diapers. My daughter was getting horrible rashes from disposables to the point where her skin was raw! It would take forever to heal and I felt horrible for her. I felt trapped and thought switching disposable brands was the only answer as I couldn’t see myself pinning cloth, but would if it would help my child. I then started researching cloth diapers and was very overwhelmed by all the different types. I finally let go of my fears and bought 1 diaper from 4 different popular brands on the market to see what I liked best. After comparing these 4 brands, Charlie Banana is certainly going to be my diaper of choice. Charlie Banana diapers seem to be very high quality and work very well for my daughter. Most importantly NO MORE RASHES! I only have one right now and would love to win one to help feed my very small diaper stash.
I love cloth diapering! We do it to save money and to do our part to help the environment. I also love how they are gentle on my baby’s skin. I love shopping for new colors/prints and trying out new things!

I like Charlie Banana on FB :)
I CD because I believe the benefits for the environment and for my son far outweight any conceived “inconveniences” CD holds over disposables.
cloth diapers are cuter and keep my boy and the future of our planet happier and brighter. to date, Charlie Banana is my favorite brand that I have tried. LOVE them!
1. i havent started cloth diapering yet but i am building a stash they are so cute and economical not to mention so soft and it seems alot more comfortable then sposies would thats why i want to cloth diaper from the start literally birth to potty training i dont have the experience of owning a charlie banana thats why i would love to win one

13 years ago1.

13 years agoWe cloth because its a great foundation for my husband & I to introduce to our daughter: helping the planet helps us, the convenient way is not the only way, a little effort goes a long way, less chemicals the better, becoming an advocate for the “less waste” campaign, & they are cute. 13 years agoI just switched to cloth diapers.
