Growing up, I loved, loved, loved to have Tater Tots® potatoes for breakfast. It was one of my favorite breakfast staples that we had in the house. Over the years, I’ve discovered new ways to use Tater Tots. They taste great in a casserole, in a hash, with chili.. the possibilities are endless.
For this dish, I have turned your everyday Tater Tots potatoes into a delicious side dish of crispy, garlicky, parmesan-crusted potatoes. This is a side dish made easy and it tastes like heaven too. Imagine super hot, crispy, garlicky, melt in your mouth potatoes. I can’t imagine anything more delicious for breakfast (or for dinner, not gonna lie!)
You can serve the crispy garlic parmesan tots on a bed of kale with a side of scrambled eggs and delicious fruit for a breakfast treat.
The thing that I loved about this dish is that it is super easy and you are most likely to have these items at home. All you need is crushed garlic, olive oil, parmesan and your Tater Tots® from Ore-Ida. That’s it! You can also add in some bacon for a special treat, or ham… ham would be great too!
Mix the garlic and 1 tsp of olive oil together.
After you place your tots in the dish, spread the garlic/olive oil mixture over top.
Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
Bake in the oven according to the directions on the bag.
