I would love to get a crock pot! I was given a used one. with a missing handle and plastic lid, it is so small that you can’t even make a roast big enough for two people and forget about adding any veggies! I have SO many crock pot recipes that I am dying to try and a brand new crock pot would make that possible :)

13 years agoI would use a crock pot for making dinners for me and my family since my husband and I both have 2 jobs, it is very convienant to come home between jobs have dinner ready for us. We love to make a a prok/onion soup dinner served over rice. It calls for 1 lb. Pork roast (cut into 1 inch chunks), 1 packet of onion soup mix, 1 can of mushroom soup, and 1/2 – 1 cup of red wine. Mix it all together cook in a crock-pot until pork is done and tender, and serve over rice or noodles. So Good!

13 years agoI would LOVE a new crock pot! My slow cooker fell apart on the way to Thanksgiving dinner, and now has no handles, and somehow my husband lost the screws inside it. I use my slow cooker to make oatmeal, enchiladas, pulled pork,soups, and so so much. I need this crock pot. :)

13 years agoWe make chili and pot roast all the time. My two favorites, though, are beans and cornbread (a nostalgic meal in my family) and Pepperoncini Roast. The roast recipe is just a roast and jar (or 2) of Pepperoncini’s with the juice and all. Cook on low heat all day before shedding meat and serving meat and peppers on King’s Hawaiian Rolls. Perfect mix of sweet and spice!!!
