This is one of my favorite go-to diy recipes using essential oils. I use this hand sanitizer ALL the time. It works great and is especially great for those with sensitive skin. I can’t use hand sanitizer with alcohol on my daughter because it makes her itchy, so this is a great alternative and we highly recommend it!
Ingredients
15 drops lavender essential oil
30 drops tea tree essential oil
4 tablespoons witch hazel
1/2 teaspoon Vitamin E oil
1/4 teaspoon jojoba oil
Instructions
Mix everything together in a glass spray bottle, preferably one that’s a dark color. This works great, especially if you want to avoid alcohol.
I’ve been making a lot of DIY recipes using essential oils including Homemade Bubble Bath!
Check out that one below too:
This is an easy diy for homemade bubble bath that can be customized to suit your preferences.
Ingredients
5 tbsp vegetable glycerine
30 drops lavender essential oil (or any EO you’d like to use)
2 cups castile soap
1 tsp lavender blossoms (optional)
1 tsp jojoba oil
1 storage container/bottle
Instructions
Add the jojoba oil to the bottom of the bottle.
Drop in the lavender blossoms.
Pour in your castile soap.
Follow with the vegetable glycerine.
Add in 30 drops of lavender essential oil or any EO that you want to use.
Shake and let sit for 24 hours before using.
Notes
For the castile soap, I used Dr. Bronner’s Lavender.
For the bottle, I found it for $3 at Target in the dollar section. Mason jars would be cute as well.
Store for 3-4 months.
