DIY Framed Key

“DIY Framed Key”

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Krazy Glue for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

When it comes to crafting, I like simple, easy and something that doesn't take long to dry. I saw a craft on Pinterest that utilizes old keys, whether they were to your first car or your first house, and you can frame them and hang them in your new house, etc. It's an adorable way to create something out of a special memory. For this project, I would recommend using Krazy Glue. Krazy Glue for Crafting offers both a craft glue and craft gel formula as well as six different applicators tailored to different types of project needs and a variety of sizes. It's Krazy strong, Krazy fast

Krazy Glue’s unique craft products bond the smallest, most delicate design elements with the same strength and speed that make Krazy Glue America’s #1 instant adhesive.

You will need:

A special key
Frame backing/mat
Wire or rope (to hang)

You take your key and glue it to the back of the cardboard piece that comes with the frame. If it's not white, you can buy the backing from the craft store. You do not want to use a piece of paper as it's not strong enough to hold up your key. I would recommend using a piece of a foam poster board or something with alike thickness.

Use the Krazy Glue and glue your key to the backing and let it try for 30 minutes before placing in the frame.

Tie string around the hanging parts of the frame so you can have an adorable, chic piece of art that holds special memories. Literally.

Krazy Glue helps me complete a craft faster than it takes to set and heat up a glue gun properly. Krazy Glue’s craft gel formula enables me to glue vertical surfaces with no runny mess and fill in gaps when bonding mismatched surfaces. You can literally make masterpieces in minutes.

Unlike a glue gun, Krazy Glue’s precision tip and brush-on applicators bond the smallest elements with no mess, burns or glue strands.
