Make your own cute and shimmery glitter bowl in just a few easy steps. These bowls are so fun, but I have to warn you, they are not very sturdy and aren’t meant to hold heavy items. I am making another one in gold, too.
First, you will need:
- Mod Podge
- Glitter
- a balloon
- a brush
- a bowl
First, blow up your balloon and set it in a bowl for support.
Next, mix together equal parts glitter and mode lodge. I did a generous amount so as not to run out.
Apply the mixture to the balloon as far down as you want, depending on the size bowl you want. Make sure to cover the area well so that no balloon is showing through. Let this dry for an hour or so. Then apply a second coat. You want it fairly thick.
On my second coat, I made a “foot” for my bowl by making a flat area on the bottom. It turned out well.
Let your bowl dry for at least 24-48 hours, then pop the balloon and you are done!!
