DIY Kitchen Chalkboard Menu Wall

“DIY Kitchen Chalkboard Menu Wall”

This post brought to you by FrogTape. All opinions are 100% mine.

A while ago, I took a big leap of faith and painted my office flat black. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. I love the look of the flat black with my white furniture in there. It is one of my most favorite rooms in the house.

With that in mind, I thought it might be fun to paint one of the walls in my kitchen with chalkboard paint so I could have a "menu wall" as they call it.

It was pretty simple to do but I couldn't have done it without my FrogTape® Textured Surface Sharp Paint Line Solution Kit. Link: Textured Surface by FrogTape

Here's why:

The edge of the wall meets the wall facing the pantry and if I screwed it up, it would look really tacky. Plus, you see it when you first walk into the house so the pressure was on.

Here's what I used to get started:

The process is pretty simple, you put the tape on the wall and then use the solution to cover over the lines. FrogTape® is treated with patented PaintBlock® Technology, a super absorbent polymer that reacts with the water in latex paint and instantly gels to form a micro-barrier that seals the edges of the tape, which helps prevent paint bleed.

Now it's time to get to painting! Note: Always remove painter’s tape while paint is still wet.

Ready for the big reveal?

Those lines are SHARP! The FrogTape® Textured Surface Sharp Paint Line Solution Kit really helps eliminate bleeding lines and will allow your project to shine.
