The Turkey craft began with a white dessert sized paper plate with a note from the Preschool teacher. The homework was to create a turkey out of the plate and bring it back to school for decorating the classroom.
In order to make it fun and interesting, I immediately decided feathers, googly eyes, glue and paint would be needed.
Items Needed:
Paper plate
Construction Paper (Orange, Brown, Red)
Feathers (or you could make feathers out of construction paper)
Googly Eyes
Brown Paint
Glue
Tape
Scissors
A twist that would be fun for older children and incorporate Thanksgiving, is on each of the feathers put something that they are thankful for.
