How to Fold A Fitted Sheet

If you are anything like me you cringe at the thought of laundry. Even more frightening than an overflowing laundry bag is the aftermath of unfolded chaos that hangs around my couch, bed or wherever it has fallen sitting to be folded and put away. Socks are no problem (especially in Hawaii where I honestly own one pair for running in) but sheets are an entirely different story. Folding these giants without dragging them across the floor is hard enough but when it comes to the fitted sheets I really start to lose my cool.

Ah the dreaded fitted sheet! For the longest time I didn’t even attempt to fold this laundry monster, I would simply roll it up and stuff it into the bottom of our linen drawer. Problem is now that I’m a mama our limited storage space is even more cramped and stuffing drawers just doesn’t cut it.

I scoured the internet looking for a tutorial that would teach me how to neatly and quickly solve this fitted sheet dilemma and came across this great video on Living on a Dime posted through youtube.com.

Happy sheet folding :)

Not gonna lie. I know how to fold a sheet, and I STILL roll it up in a ball and shove it in the closet hahahahaha! I admit, I’m lazy :)

I am so glad you posted this. The radio station I listen to was talking about this the other week and I was thinking I need to find a tutorial on how to fold a fitted sheet. I honestly just wad it up and shove it in the chest where all my sheets go. haha. I’m going to have to give this a try!
