Halloween. For kids, it means dressing up, walking around the neighborhood getting candy. For adults, it means raiding the candy stash when the kids go to bed. Let’s all be honest here.
However, when it comes to throwing a fun, fabulous Halloween bash, there are some fun ways you can say “BOO” without going overboard and spending a fortune.
Brown-Bag Ghosts & Faces
One of my favorite things to do is to decorate brown paper bags, you can cut out holes, use a decorative paper punch, or simply have the kids draw fun faces on them. The trick here is to place a “flameless” led candle on the inside and set it outside. You can even get creative and use them to line your walkway when the trick-or-treaters come up to the door.
You can also wrap a mason jar in wax paper and make “Glowing Ghosts” (as shown).
You can have a lot of fun with these creepy crawly treats. You can use them as a centerpiece decoration on the table or have some fun and throw some gummy worms into crushed oreos for a dirty twist.
Decorating with Pumpkins
Decorating with pumpkins is one of the easiest ways to get into the holiday spirit.
Plus, they’re super cute.
How do you spend the 31st of October?
