Hearty Morning Oatmeal with Fruit, Nuts & Chia Seeds


I couldn’t think of anything I wanted to eat this morning. It was one of those mornings where nothing sounded good. My husband said “what about oatmeal?” and that was just what I needed to hear.

I love oatmeal and it wasn’t until recently that I discovered my love for oatmeal with fruits & nuts in it! Like clockwork, this is how I make my oatmeal.

Cook the instant oatmeal per the directions. I use organic whole milk instead of water.
Once the oatmeal is cooked, I add a splash of milk on top and then top the oatmeal with my fruits & nuts. I like to try a variety but today, I had cranberries, raisins, pecans, almonds & chia seeds and it was just what I needed. It was delicious.
