Making Time for Healthy Activities Each Day with your Family

“Making Time for Healthy Activities Each Day with your Family”

I’m gonna be 100% honest with you, it’s easy to let the day slip away from you and the next thing you know… you think, crap! there was still so much more I wanted to do. I’ve found the best thing to do in that situation is to plan ahead. You may think I’m crazy but plan… for a little walk after dinner with the family. Even if it’s around the block!

Plan for a little weekend staycation where you get to spend time outdoors doing something you love. Exploring nature, bringing a picnic lunch and going for a little hike with the family before relaxing at a picnic table with your snacks in hand.

I’ve found that when you put aside a little bit of time, you will end up doing more things you love and becoming more active with your family. Summer is coming up in the next few months, okay.. maybe 4 but still, it’s never to early to start thinking ahead? What do you want to do this summer?

Whatever you do, moms, make sure you come prepared. Buy a cute little backpack if you plan to spend a lot of time outdoors this year. I love stocking my backpack with my favorite things: fruit roll-ups, water bottles, trail mix, Stayfree Ultra Thins (hey, they allow you to stay calm, cool, and collected during any activity… you know!) and some sunscreen.
