Mocktail Corner: The Arnold Palmer

Welcome to Mocktail Corner. Every Wednesday through the summer, we will be sharing mocktail recipes along with our cocktail recipes (and hey, we may keep it going, you never know.) For now, we hope that you enjoy some of these “mocktail” recipes, and consider offering some at your next get-together.

As you may know, every Wednesday, we feature a new wine or cocktail as part of the original Wine Wednesday that many people take part in on the blog community.

With all the talk of wine and cocktails, sometimes we can forget our friends who, for some reason or another abstain from alcohol. This doesn’t mean we have to leave our guests to only sodas and water. Especially if hosting a themed party, or a summer-time shindig, we could always spice up our options to leave something fun for those who choose to not imbibe.

Whether it be religious reasons, safety or health concerns, lifestyle changes, or even a recovering alcoholic, having a non-alcoholic drink ready to make your guest feel included and welcomed is the mark of a truly seasoned host or hostess!

Extremely simple, very refreshing, and my personal favorite is the Arnold Palmer.

This mocktail is very simple.

The Arnold Palmer Mocktail

1/3 cup iced tea
1/3 cup prepared lemonade
Pour over ice and garnish with a lemon wedge.

Cheers!
