My son and I attended our first cooking class together a few weeks ago, and I got a hold of the most amazing, enjoyable, kid-friendly, and easy after school snack for our growing kiddos. I do not know how many of you, parents, are lucky enough to have heard of this delicious meal for your children, but I am here to tell you the secret to having happy kids who are just “starving” after a long day at school, just enough to hold them over until dinner time.
And here it is, the secret to the after-school snack your kids will be more than excited to come home to:
THE ENGLISH MUFFIN PIZZA.
Three ingredients (that you most likely already have at home in your pantry) to create this delicious snack, then follow these simple directions and BAM- happy kids!
-Mini Pepperoni (or any other toppings of choice)
-Set oven to 350 degrees
-Place English Muffins on a cookie sheet
-Spread pizza sauce on the English Muffin
-Add cheese and other toppings of choice to top it off
-Place in oven for 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is melted
–(Tip: for a more crispy “crust” first toast the English Muffin in the toaster, then place the pizza in the oven until cheese is melted)
