Taking Steps To Healthier Eating

“Taking Steps To Healthier Eating”

Ever since the birth of my second child I have been on a mission to lose a little weight. It seems like the more I learn about the process, the less I know. Figuring out which dietary advice to listen to workout program to follow can be absolutely overwhelming.

I will be completely honest with you, when I get overwhelmed I also get hungry. One of my favorite comfort foods is a good old-fashioned peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Maybe that is part of the problem.

It’s not so much the peanut butter, or even really be jelly that keeps my weight-loss stagnant, it’s the slices of bread I put those delectable condiments in between. Enter the beauty of Weight Watchers® and Arnold® Sandwich Thins.

Arnold® Sandwich Thins at only 100 calories, are packed with whole wheat, flax, and fiber. Only three SmartPoints® and Weight Watchers® endorsed, these are a great choice for those of you that, like me, absolutely love a good PB&J but could do without all the carbs.

Weight Watchers® is a great program that takes some of the guesswork out of the dieting parts of weight loss. Many people have had fantastic results and great success stories. Some really good friends of mine have experienced breathtaking transformations and for that reason I feel it is definitely worth giving a try.

Weight Watchers® has a variety of products available at my local Walmart and whenever I see a brand that they have partnered with it encourages me to check out the products a little further.

Weight-loss is a journey that has its ups and downs but if you stay on the path you will definitely reach your destination. It’s all about finding what works for you and since I am not willing to give up those peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, a good concession is a healthier alternative that I was able to fine thanks to the Weight Watchers® endorsement.

My favorite way to use these sandwich thins is by making the ultimate breakfast sandwich with egg, nitrate-free bacon, avocado and sometimes I will even add in some vegetables.

I am well on my way to my goal weight, and I am pretty thankful that my ultimate comfort food of PB&J can make the journey with me. It’s quite convenient for me to pick up everything my family needs at my local Walmart, and even some Weight Watchers® treats for mom.
