Your Forgot Their Name…Again
Forgetting information happens. Sometimes, you walk through the door, and your memory is erased. Forgetting important stuff over and over, though, can be an issue. Stress, anxiety, and fatigue will cause havoc for short term memory. Constantly losing memory of someone’s name, the items you need from the grocery store, and brain fog can be a sign that your thyroid hormones are running low. Without a functioning thyroid, your whole body (and brain) will feel as if they are moving through molasses.
Other symptoms of low thyroid hormone—or hypothyroidism—include no libido, chills, and not tasting any flavor from food. Since these symptoms are a bit disparate, you may overlook them or think much of them. So, at the first instance of feeling like you are in a fog or living in slow-mo, you should call a doctor.
