You Have Yellowing Skin and Eyes
Jaundice, or the yellowing of the skin and the whites of the eyes, is a tell-tale sign of liver issues. Even if you do not yet feel ill, you should call the doctor. Jaundice can prelude hepatitis, liver disease, cirrhosis, or some other issue.
Yellowing skin is worrying because it means there is an excess of bile pigment, called bilirubin, in the body. Since the liver is what controls bile production, having too much bile pinpoints an issue with the liver.
