We are back with another flipflop Wine review! flipflop Wines was so generous and sent me some wines for a group review! How awesome!
Before we head into my review, I would like to talk a little bit about who flipflop Wines is as a company.
flipflop Wines was started by Vintner, David Georges. David went to the University of California Davis where he studied viniculture and winemaking after discovering the art of grape growing. In 2009, David began working on the wines that would become the inaugural vintage of flipflop. His goal is to stay true to each wine’s varietal character, and to make great tasting wines that don’t break the bank.
“With flipflop wines, we have embraced the movement toward individualistic expression, instead of manufacturing wines into some cookie-cutter style that’s all the rage. Our goal is to craft expressive, well-balanced wines that evoke just what the grapes inside intended, without being over-wrought or over-explained, and that can be enjoyed at any occasion”
And now back to the wine… I love Chardonnay. It is my absolute favorite when it comes to white wines. So I was really excited to find out we would be receiving this to review. flipflop Wines Chardonnay was incredibly delicious. It was the perfect drink to sip while catching up with friends. It was very smooth and buttery. Just the way it should be.
I asked everyone how much they thought the wine retailed for and the majority of people guessed anywhere from $15- $20 and were completely surprised when I told them only $7. In fact, they didn’t believe me at first. So this proves you are getting good quality wine at an incredible price!
Everyone really enjoyed the Chardonnay and were really glad that I introduced them to this outstanding company.
As if this wine wasn’t great enough, check out how they are giving back.
