Not only am I the type to pick organic beauty products whenever I can, but my daughter has sensitive skin. And that means I have to be careful about the ingredients in the products I buy too. The poor girl has eczema. I have never had it, so I wasn’t very familiar with that particular skin condition. I had to look around for bath and skin care products that fit my desire to be friendly to the earth, and fit may daughters skin care needs.
Well, what do you know. A product exists that works in our home! I usually find I have to give up one thing for another, but not in this case! Zoe Organics has me covered pretty much all around. Zoe’s seeks out the highest quality organic ingredients to use in their products. Not only do they strive to bring you awesome products with quality ingredients, they also have made human rights their mission. Check their website for tons more information about their products and their mission!
Here’s what I got to try out from Zoe Organics:
Baby Bath Tea
Baby Massage OilBaby BalmI think my favorite is the balm! It’s a big stick, kind of like giant chap stick. I love that I don’t have to touch it and get greasy fingers! No biggie, but it’s a nice touch. The best part though, and the thing that matters, it doesn’t irritate already sensitive skin! I use it at night, right after a bath and I put long pants on (unless it’s crazy hot). When she wakes up, the dry patches from the eczema are more smooth and less flakey. Which means, it’s probably a relief for my daughter too. This stuff will be kept in my house at all times from now on.
We also loved the massage oil and the bath tea. The tea comes in muslin bags that you just toss in the bath water. Give the bag a squeeze and a squish and you’ll have a nice oatmeal tea type bath! This stuff also helps with eczema, I noticed. And, hey, not gonna lie. I tried it in my bath too! My skin was soft and the bath smelled great! My only request to Zoe? I wonder if they could make a giant bag of the tea stuff, and then give us some reusable muslin bags. Less garbage! The bag is small though, so really it’s not a big deal. The massage oil is nice and light – not heavy feeling. It absorbs nicely into the skin and leaves a nice calming scent. This would be great for moms with newborns. Baby massage is relaxing not just for baby, but for mom too.
I tried out the baby stuff, but they do make skin care for pregnant moms too! Be sure to check that out, if you’re expecting. But guess what! Zoe wants you to be able to try out some baby skin care stuff too! Yep. They have offered to giveaway a nice gift set to one lucky reader. Their gift sets are awesome, and you can use them to try for yourself, or give it away as a baby shower gift to an expecting friend or family member!
