“Lifefactory: Glass Sippy Cap Bottles”

Not only is this a very modern and beautiful glass sippy cup, it is also a great alternative to plastic. As much as plastic bottle and cup companies say that they are free of any harmful chemicals, the thought still crosses my mind. Plus it is one less plastic bottle in the landfill and drinks just taste better in glass anyway.

Lifefactory fuses modern sensibility, eco-friendly composition, and exceptional utility to produce glass baby bottles, glass beverage bottles, and teethers that are free of known harmful chemicals including BPA, phthalates, and PVC.

There are so many positives to using glass bottles but the thought of the glass breaking had always crossed my mind and left me slightly uneasy, especially since my son has a tendency to throw things at random times. So I was pleasantly surprised when I received the bottle and checked it out first hand before washing it and letting my son try it out. The silicone sleeve really helps to keep the bottle protected and help my son to keep his grip on it. Plus, if the bottle does break, they sell replacement glass.

Lifefactory’s BPA-free reusable 9 oz bottles are clear borosilicate glass wrapped in a modern silicone sleeve — an intelligently designed, clean tasting, chemical-free container for all your favorite beverages. Great for toddlers, our sippy caps are leak resistant and have steady flow control. Control silicone valve flow rate by tightening or loosening cap. For maximum flow, remove silicone valve.

We have had major problems with our other sippy cups leaking. I have no idea why companies will write “leak-proof” on their packaging when clearly the cup leaks, so it was a big relief to see that the Lifefactory sippy cup did what it said…it didn’t leak! Hallelujah!  Major points for that. No one likes a diaper bag full of juice! Hands down FAVORITE sippy cup that we own!

LIfefactory is also a company that is made to grow with your family. They make baby bottles, sippy cups and even adult bottles.

They make regular drinking bottles for older kids and adults as well. They are out of the bay area which is really cool!

I used glass bottles for my baby and was bummed when she moved to sippy cups because they are all plastic. So happy to find out about these! Thank you!
