“Mederma Stretch Marks Therapy”

This post should be named “This one is strictly for the pleasure of those girls who didn’t like me in high school”

Ok, that’s kind of long. But true.

I’m going to show you all my stretch mark covered tummy today. Yep. But it is for the greater good, I promise.

When I got pregnant with Miles, I did all the right things to keep my stomach looking smooth and cute. I had just had surgery on my stomach less than a year before, and the last thing I wanted was to end up with MORE stuff to add to the scars already on there! I used cocoa butter lotion (expensive stuff, too!) I drank lots of water, I didn’t scratch (too much)…but alas, the stretch marks showed up. and KEPT showing up!

The majority of the marks are on the underside of my belly, below my belly button, but I got some really big ones on either side of my belly button, too.

So when I heard about Mederma’s Stretch Mark Therapy and how much everybody loves it, I wanted to try it for sure! It’s a cream that you rub onto the areas of your skin with stretch marks twice a day to help reduce the appearance of stretch marks.  I opened it up to try it for the first time, and let me say it smells SO SO good, ladies!!! Really! I didn’t love the smell of the lotion I used during pregnancy, but this Cream smells so fresh and I don’t feel like I need to worry about covering up the smell if I’m headed out. GREAT feature.

They say that you can see results in as little as 4 weeks, and that within 12 weeks you’ll have the best results. I’m going for it! And I’m taking you all on the ride with me! Once a month I’ll check in with you all to show you my progress. I took my “before” pictures last night (GAG!!!!) and will update each month for the next 3 months.

Here goes nothing…my “BEFORE” pictures:

Upper Belly

Those scars you see at the middle/bottom are from Gall Bladder surgery…gonnna see if we can fade those, too!!

Whole Shebang….

Close up of the lower Belly…

Today marks the beginning of a new, cleaner looking tummy chapter for me though. I am excited to try out Mederma’s Stretch Mark Therapy and to share my results with all of you.

Showing my stretch mark covered belly isn’t my finest moment in life, but I did it for my fellow tiger striped ladies out there. No shame.
